Gasworks Café has replaced china & cutlery with compostable food trays, juice cups, serviettes & bowls.
We still serve coffee in cups & mugs & tea is served in bone china – of course. So much nicer to drink from.
Our Cutlery is made from coffee grounds – brilliant & enjoyable to eat with.
Yes no more china plates & cutlery – this is the future of cafe life.
This fresh approach also reduces the massive amount of water used in washing up & labor costs.
Everything that we serve you with is sustainably managed to ensure that we do what we can to protect our planet.
None of our compostable packaging goes into landfill.
